Dave Lord
David Lord, a veteran community newspaper executive and former president and chief executive officer of Pioneer Newspapers, Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of Wick Communications Co.
Lord served as president and CEO of Pioneer Newspapers from 1991 through 2009 and remains a director of the company.
He has served as a board member and director of the Associated Press, is chairman and past president of PAGE, a media cooperative, was chairman and past president of the Inland Press Association and was a board member and director of the Newspaper Association of America.
Lord also serves as a board member and director of Craft Brew Alliance, a publicly traded craft brewery, where he is chairman of the compensation committee and a member of the audit committee.
