We need an Office Manager for our Circulation Department. This person records payments, processes bills, helps with customer service issues and provides other office support to our Circulation Department and District managers. We don’t expect to find someone who already knows about Circulation issues. We’ll get you up to speed on the particulars of the department. But we do hope to find someone who can handle the duties, including being comfortable using a computerized bookkeeping and customer database system, has decent ability with Word and Excel, is a self-starter who can keep himself/herself on course to handle assigned duties as scheduled. You also need to have good customer service skills to help us address service or billing issues with our customers. The basic hours are 8-5, Monday through Friday.
We’ve been lucky that previous persons in this position have held it for years, and hope that suggests it’s a good job. We have an opening now as the current Office Manager is getting a promotion.
