Dennis Anderson is the publisher of The Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman in Wasilla, Alaska, and oversees all Wick operations in Alaska.
Anderson began his work for Wick Communications as an advertising representative in Montrose, Colo., in August 2004. He was promoted to advertising director before being named publisher of The Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman. Prior to joining Wick, Anderson worked in the retail industry, including 16 years in store management.
He has a long history of involvement in his community, including acting as president of the local Cal Ripken Baseball League while in Colorado. He served three years in the U.S. Army, including a stint in Germany.
He and his wife, Melissa, have three children, Jonathon, Matthew and Victoria plus two grandchildren, Landon and Joey. He enjoys fishing and gardening.
