Mike Baldwin, graphic designer for central design, received runner up for his entry into the “2013 Celebrating the Holidays Ad Contest” by Metro Creative Graphics. With over 200 entries judges had quite a challenge to pick a single winner, and Baldwin was able to impress the judges with a Runner-up award. This holiday season Wick newspapers ran holiday ads in an effort to thank their readers, clients and partners. Wick's Tucson-based Central Design department, which designs most of the company's print and online advertising, designed the ads. The advertisements feature a group picture and a note thanking readers. See examples below.
