Daily Iberian replaces printing press

Starting with the Sunday Feb. 6 issue, The Daily Iberian in New Iberia, La. is being printed by The (Houma) Courier for several weeks, while its old Goss Urbanite press is taken out for replacement with a rebuilt Goss Community press. The Urbanite press was installed in the mid 1970s. The Goss printing press is the latest of a series of upgrades to the New Iberia plant, which has had building renovations and remodeling, a Computer To Plate system installed, and more, representing close to $1 million in investment by Wick Communications in this operation recently.
