Montrose number one with the Inland Press Association

The printing crew of the Montrose Daily Press was cited as one of the top newspapers with circulations less than 15,000 in its annual print quality contest. The Press won the top award for color reproduction. Inland Press Association, based out of  Des Plaines, Ill., has 1,165 members in all 50 states and two foreign countries. In addition to printing the Daily Press, the crew also prints and handles mail room services for more than 20 other community newspapers and specialty niche publications on the Western Slope, Grand Junction, and northern New Mexico.
