Roanoke Valley Daily Herald launches a new quarterly magazine

Roanoke Valley Woman.

Roanoke Valley Woman, a new quarterly publication from The Daily Herald, began publication on February 17.

The debut issue included 24 advertisers and generated more than $6,500 in new revenue. The magazine is printed in a large tabloid format with a high-gloss cover and high-bright newsprint on the inside pages.

Written predominantly by local writers, Roanoke Valley Woman delivers content focused on women who live, work and thrive in the Roanoke Valley. Each issue of Roanoke Valley Woman has something for every woman who wants to get more out of life, whether it’s a single woman on the go, a mom balancing family and career or a baby boomer looking toward retirement.

More than 6,000 complimentary copies of the magazine are delivered to a credible, qualified audience at grocery stores, libraries, medical offices and other businesses frequented by female consumers throughout the Roanoke Valley and Lake Gaston area.

Future issues will publish this year in May, August and November.
