Joe Richter to retire from the Wick board of directors

At his last Board meeting November 19 in Phoenix Mr. Richter was recognized for his service to Wick Communications. Mr. Richter joined the Wick Communications Board of Directors in 2003.Mr. Richter was born in Bridgeport, Conn. and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism at the University of Bridgeport while working as a reporter for the Bridgeport Post-Telegram. Joe served in a variety of positions with Ottaway.Rising through the ranks at Ottaway, in 1998 he was appointed president and chief operating officer of Ottaway Newspapers, Inc. Joe retired from Ottaway at the end of 2002.Joe is retired and lives in Cortez, Florida. He is an avid world traveler having been to Western and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.Wick Communications wishes to thank Joe for his service on the Board of Directors.
