Rebecca Bradner has been named group publisher and corporate classified director for Wick Communications, overseeing several Arizona newspapers, including the Eastern Arizona Courier (Safford), Arizona Range News (Willcox), Copper Era (Morenci) and the Nogales International.
She joined Wick Communications in April 2014 as publisher of the Green Valley News, Sahuarita Sun and several magazines.
She is involved with many organizations in the community and has a passion to drive economic and residential growth using the influence and broad reach of the newspapers. She also represents the newspapers as a corporate partner for the Chamber of Commerce and volunteers at many local events serving several groups.
Bradner spent 11 years as classified advertising director for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and has worked for nine other news organizations during her career, including Tucson Newspapers, Hawaii Newspaper Agency, The Hartford Courant and Pulitzer’s Community Newspaper Group.
In 2010, she was awarded the Charles Horn Memorial Award for outstanding achievements in classified advertising and contributions to community and the industry at the WCAA Classified Conference.
She and her husband, Scott, live in Sahuarita. She is the proud mother of two sons and dotes on her eight grandchildren. In her spare time she is an avid college basketball fan and keeps busy playing with her three Yorkies, Max, Penny and Blossem.
